Weather Wonderland!

Finally! After the longest winter in Grubsburg's history, the sun has come out, and warmed us up. Today Scamp and I jumped on my motor scooter and cruised around Chicago. We ended up going to the Montrose Avenue Dog Beach. It was so much fun. It was nothing but happy dogs running around and having a blast. Scamp even took a little swim in Lake Michigan.

You are not going to believe who I saw last week! Scamp and I were out in California for this duo surfing competition. Anyways, we were checking out all the cool areas: Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive,
Santa Monica.... But then in Hollywood it happend; I caught him out of the corner of my eye. The one and only Elvis Aaron Presley! He is alive and as sweaty & smelly as I could have imagined!
Unfortunately, I didn't get my camera out fast enough, and by the time I did, he was practically
gone, but I did manage to get this blurry photo! Enjoy!
Interesting note: If you scramble the letters in "Elvis" it says, "Lives".

American Idol

Did you see American Idol last night? I'm a big fan of David Cook. He's got a good voice for ROCK!
You know I once tried out for American Idol. Paula thought I was cute, but Simon kept on saying I was "bug eyed" and funny looking. He made me so nervous that my voice cracked a bunch of times and, well, I ruined my rendition of "Everybody was Kung-Fu fighting" by Carl Douglas. I brought numb chucks and everything!
Just a little tip from me to you; never attempt a back flip with numb chucks in both hands on a wood floor where 500 nervous singers have been sweating everywhere prior to your audition. You will land on your head, and wake up 3 days later...
